2006 Events
"ROLES WOMEN PLAY" - An original musical revue created for the Woman's Club by Carole Schweid and Nancy Diamond of JIB Productions, producers
of Westport's popular lunchtime theatre series, Play With Your Food, was performed on October 20th & 21st. The show, which was a blend of fabulous entertainment and a look at the the history of the Westport Woman's Club, kicked off the 100-year anniversary celebration of WWC. The beneficiaries
of this fundraiser were Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Positive Directions and Children's Connections
“THE 2006 SPRING FASHION SHOW” was held on April 27th. A Fashion Show by DONCASTER was presented
by Shirley Reynolds and Patti Wrobel. Major recipients of the net proceeds of the event were Christian Community Action, Westport EMS and ElderHouse. A luncheon was catered by Fitzgerald Fine Catering. Our thanks go out to the event sponsors: Newman's Own, Peter Coppola Salon / Spa, and Dorothy Curran of Weichert Realtors
2005 Events
"LET THE SUN SHINE IN" - The Music of the Sixties was performed at the Westport Woman's Club on November 19th. This wonderful and entertaining show, produced by

"AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING STARRING RICHARD SKIPPER" 
was held on April 16th. The fabulously entertaining performance by Richard Skipper (Website) made it clear why this is an award winning show
The net proceeds from the event benefited Music & Arts Center For Humanity, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding and A Better Chance. The Westport Woman's Club thanks the event sponsors Derma Clinic European Day Spa and Newman's Own
2004 Events
"CABARET NIGHT" 
was held on November 20th. The show starred Leslie Orofino (website) and her trio in Red Hot & Blues.
The net proceeds of this exciting event went to Norwalk Hospital to be applied toward the purchase of Full Field Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Detection. The technology allows a 20% improvement in detecting early breast cancer, which can give a better opportunity for less invasive treatment and a successful outcome. The event was sponsored by ICG Financial, LLC.
“THE 2004 SPRING FASHION SHOW” was held on April 27th. It consisted of a /Silent Auction, luncheon provided by Fitzgerald Fine Catering, and followed with a fashion show by Chico’s of Westport. The net proceeds from the show were distributed to Clasp Homes, Star, Inc. and Families in Need.
“AN EVENING WITH GERSHWIN” 
was held on February 7th. It was an evening of food, wines
and entertainment. Orin Grossman portrayed George Gershwin, playing many of the Gershwin repertoire including songs from "Porgy & Bess”. There were Broadway and off-Broadway performers accompanying him. The profits from the event were distributed to Mercy Learning Center and Mid-Fairfield Hospice.
