Mission Statement:

The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the charitable, educational, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns. 501(c)(3)

Thank you for your interest in joining the Westport Woman’s Club!  Membership is open to all women who live or work in Westport and the surrounding areas, there is no  residency requirement.

Founded in 1907, the WWC achieves its goals through various fundraisers, including the Yankee Doodle Fair and Curio Cottage Thrift Shop.  All members are expected to contribute their time, talent, and energies to the community service and fund-raising activities of the Club.

The WWC also offers a variety of social events and special interest groups to appeal to a diverse group of women.  It’s a great way to meet new people and try new things. As a member you may head to NYC for a play, get your hands dirty with the Garden Club, enjoy a gourmet lunch outing, feed your passion for antiquing, indulge in a good book, pick up your knitting needles. Play Bridge, Bunco, or Mah Jongg – just to name a few.  (See Special Interests Groups).  Members can also rent the facility for a private party at a reduced rate. General membership meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Monday of the month with a catered lunch and guest speaker.

If you decide to join us, please  print and fill out the current Membership Application and send it in along with your dues.  Annual dues, currently at $90.00 are billed during August of each year; new members joining after January 16 are billed one-half of the annual dues.

For more information please contact the current Membership Chair, Robin Clark.

Prospective members wishing to learn more about the WWC or have a tour of the Westport Woman’s Club may contact Membership Director Robin Clark (203-254-6307) to register. Westport residence is not required.
