The Sunshine Girls Commitee


The Sunshine Girls are responsible for expressing the sentiments of the WWC to members in matters of personal concern. The Sunshine Girls, originally known as the Friendship Committee, was formed in 1999. In 2006, the committee was formalized and named the Sunshine Girls and is placed under the purview of the First Vice President for Special Interest. The Sunshine Girls co- host June Club Day with Cultural Affairs. – Each member is responsible for a specific calendar month.
- In addition, the Group has substitutes who can offer assistance during a very busy month or cover, if needed, for a regular member of the Group.
- Sunshine Girls have the opportunity to send a fellow member a card, make a phone call or lend a little assistance to a friend in need.
- The Sunshine Girls meet in the Living Room in October and March following Club Day.
