The Westport Woman’s Club Garden Department presented Cyrus Paktinat, owner and designer of Flower Fall of Westport at their October meeting. He showed his skill as an artist and poet as he demonstrated to the audience how to make beautiful fall flower arrangements and Thanksgiving Harvest décor for the home.
Mr. Paktinat had gone to New York to the Flower Market at 5 a.m., purchased an assortment of beautiful flowers to bring to the Woman’s Club for his talk, and they sat in large tubs of water in front of him, awaiting his magical touch. After he finished, much excitement ensued when there was a Raffle for all the finished flower arrangements.
The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the charitable, educational, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns.
