Westport Woman's Club (WWC) is accepting donations of new and gently used clothing and accessories for its Annual Epic Clothing & Accessories Sale, with proceeds benefiting local charities and nonprofits throughout Fairfield County.
The change of seasons is the perfect time to clean out those closets and make a meaningful difference. Tax-deductible donations will be accepted Friday, September 11 through Friday, November 6 at the Westport Woman's Club, 44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT. Items may be dropped off any weekday, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Club's coat room.
Accepted items include women's and men's clothing, shoes, boots, handbags, scarves, jewelry, and other accessories. Torn, damaged, or heavily soiled items, as well as undergarments, lingerie, and bathing suits, cannot be accepted. Local retailers are also invited to donate surplus inventory.
"The more donations we receive, the more we can give back to our community," said Nancy Austin, Westport Woman’s Club President. "Every donated item helps support programs that make a meaningful impact in our community." Funds raised support the WWC Food Closet, need-based student scholarships, and annual community grants awarded to local charitable organizations.

Special Early Bird Shopping will be available on Friday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a $10 donation, giving shoppers first access to the sale's best finds. And on the final day of the sale, Sunday, Nov 15, all items will be half price.
