Westport is truly in for a treat when Mia Gentile and Brett Boles, two of Fairfield County's most promising Rising Stars, return from the City to thrill audiences with some of their favorite jazz and classic show tunes at the Westport Woman's Club on April 28, at 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
The April 28 Cabaret is the second event in a two-part Waiting in the Wings Cabaret: Broadway and Jazz Classics series designed to raise funds to support the Westport Woman's Club's 2012 Scholarship Program.
Tickets to the April 28th Waiting In The Wings Cabaret include complimentary wine and hors d'ouevres provided by our community party restaurants. In addition, each cabaret attendee two $5 dining dollar certificates (minimum purchase of $25 per certificate) redeemable at any of our six partner resaturants between now and May 20, 2012. The Westport Woman's Club is very grateful to its Community Partner Restaurants for their support of our Scholarship Program, and we hope that our Cabaret audience will show their appreciation by making dinner reservations for before or after our April 28 event.
Established in 1925, the WWC Scholarship Program Committee, in consultation with Staples High School Administration, has provided a variety of college scholarships to deserving local students throughout the years. The amount and number of scholarships vary from year-to-year, depending on funds raised and the qualification of the applicants.
