The Garden Department of the WWC enjoyed the opportunity to learn the basics of Floral Line Design from noted floral designer Melinda Wolcott. Armed with clippers and scissors, she first demonstrated the fundamentals then guided the group in establishing the line for an arrangement and filling it out. After designs were compete Ms. Wolcott, a Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut Judge, reviewed each piece, noting what worked and offering approaches to strengthening each design.
