Waiting In The Wings Presents Broadway and Jazz Classics 2012

Do you love the songs from the great Broadway musicals of the ‘40’s, 50’s and 60’s? Then you won’t want to miss The Westport Woman's Club's Waiting in the Wings Cabaret: Broadway and Jazz Classics on Saturday February 4, at 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm. This first performance of 2012 series will bring you New York City’s stars of tomorrow up close and personal as they entertain with classic renditions and new arrangements of enduring musical favorites. $Andrew Keltz was featured in the first, sold-out Waiting in the Wings cabaret last year, and is delighted to return to perform in the 2012 cabaret series launch. Professional credits include Young Buddy in Follies, Howie in How Can You Run With a Shell on Your Back? (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Kai in The Snow Queen, Don/Moishe in Jacob and Jack (Victory Gardens Theater), Jan the Second in Yeast Nation (American Theater Company), Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Mickey in Bowery Boys, Aladdin in Aladdin (Marriott Theatre), Dromio of Syracuse in The Boys from Syracuse (Drury Lane Theatre), Willie Bounce in The Hundred Dresses(Chicago Children\'s Theatre) as well as work with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. BA, Northwestern University.$ $Emma Lively (violin) is a classical violist-turned musical theater writer, composer and lyricist. She has co-created three original musicals in her writing partnership with Tyler Beattie: Blue, Bunny\'s Bakery and Candy Land, with additional musical projects underway. Emma is the president of LivelyWorks, an entertainment production company that has developed the Lively-Beattie shows, produced a workshop of The Golden Gate (an opera by Conrad Cummings and Vikram Seth) at Lincoln Center, and produced Julia Cameron Live, an online course and artists\' community led by best-selling author Julia Cameron (The Artist\'s Way). Emma is the owner and executive chef of Bunny\'s Bakery, a custom catering company based in NYC. Her first book, The Prosperous Heart (co-written with Julia Cameron and published by Tarcher/Penguin) will be released in January 2012.$ $Stephanie Sherline (guitar/hand percussion) is excited to be working with the Westport Woman\'s Club. As a musician and composer, Stephanie has written, performed, and sound designed extensively in Chicago, Detroit and New York City. She is a graduate of Northwestern University\'s theatre department and currently serves as Production Coordinator for Aurora Productions, production management for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.$ $Tyler Beattie, Music Director, also leads the band on piano. An accomplished composer, writer and director, Tyler has co-created three original musicals: Blue, Bunny\'s Bakery and Candy Land. Other original works include Sleepy Hollow, Pinocchio, The Sandman and Just So. He has also had works featured in the WME composers\' showcase at Playwrights\' Horizons and 2011 inaugural year of Bridge to Broadway, a new works program run by Tony-winning producers Tim and Pamela Kashani. He is a Vice President of LivelyWorks, an entertainment production company that produced a workshop of The Golden Gate (an opera by Conrad Cummings and Vikram Seth) at Lincoln Center, and produced Julia Cameron Live, an online course and artists\' community led by best-selling author Julia Cameron (The Artist\'s Way).
