The sun was shining brightly which made it a perfect day to have the Annual Westport Woman’s Club Art Show for local artists in the Woman’s Club newly refurbished gallery. Jo Fuchs Luscombe was chair of the show with well-known artist Miggs Burroughs acting as Curator to set up a very wonderful show. He also had some unusual art work in the lenticular style which he is noted for.
The show was dedicated to the memory of long time Westporter artist Howard Munce who recently passed away at 100 years old. One of the show pieces was Howard Munce as a young man and when walking by it turns into the way he looked more currently….Miggs did it in the lenticular way…very effective. (see slide show below)
